NOTICE:

All persons whose privilege to park on the University of Florida campus has been suspended have the right to appeal this suspension to restore that privilege.  A successful appeal is the only way to restore this privilege before the next academic year (September 1 - August 30).

A Statement of Appeal to the University Hearing Authority for a suspension appeal must be filed with Transportation and Parking Services in writing either at our office or online,  All suspension APPEALS are processed at an in person hearing.  The appellant will be contacted by Transportation and Parking Services to establish an appointment date and time.

It is imperative that all appellants arrive promptly for their scheduled appointment  This appointment date and time may include several other appellants.  Each appellant is required to sign in when they arrive and once the meeting begins each shall be seen in the order in which they signed in.

Requests for continuances of the scheduled hearing date are discouraged but will be granted once upon notification to the Authority of extenuating circumstances justifying a continuance at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled hearing time.  Persons failing to obtain a continuance and failing to appear for their scheduled hearing will forfeit their right to appear at a hearing and shall have their appeal adjudicated upon the record before the Authority.

In the event the privilege is reinstated the accumulation of a single further parking violation will result in the suspension being automatically re-established for the remainder of the academic year with no further recourse.
